Long couple days working, but did have a chance to check out Warhammer Tank
Check out the really great post on the Top 10 Things to do While Waiting for Open Beta. It really hit home and even made me laugh. Can't wait for the next few weeks to go by until release. Preview weekend was a blessing and a curse. Definitely loved trying out such a great game, but really missing being able to play now.

New Disciple of Khaine Guide
There is a new Disciple of Khaine guide over at Warhammer Vault. Since I love this class and learned a bit from the guide I thought I would share it with you.
Introduction
“Few are the select chosen that survive the reveries of the Death Night. Fewer still are those who leave the Cauldron with eyes of molten brass, burning with the hatred of our Dark god. These true chosen are taken into the cult and trained in the most secret of rites, emerging as masters of death second only to Khaine himself.”
The Disciples of Khaine are the chosen dark priests of the bloody handed god and can be found on the frontline of any Druchii assault. Using wicked ritual blades, a Disciple harvests the essence of their enemy and offers it to Khaine in exchange for fell blessings and dark powers. These dark gifts allow the Disciple to tend to the needs of the Dark Elf host, mending bones, suppressing pain, and even raising critically injured warriors to fight again. The Disciple of Khaine is the shepherd of war, ensuring the bloody slaughter can continue in the name of their dark god.

Added two new buttons to the left for Disciple of Khaine links. Hope you find them useful.
Preview weekend reveals...
In a post today from Mark at Mythic, he addressed a few of their concerns after the preview weekend.
I have to agree with the pet pathing and control issues. It was one of the things that frustrated me the most when trying to play White Lion or Squig Herder. Actually frustrated me to the point of not playing either class. What fun is a pet class when you tell your pet to attack, kill the enemy yourself and then have your pet come wandering up looking at you like "you didn't want me to help, did you?"
Beside that, everything else he touched on was not a problem for me. Maybe I was lucky. All in all with the large influx of population over the preview weekend, I was very happy with the game performance, mechanics and content.
Here were the main points he addresses:
Client Crashes
Monster Pathing and AI
Pet Responsiveness
Global Cooldown Timers
Better animations
Texture Blurring
Client Performance
Targeting, Camera, etc
Renown rank gear
You can read his full post at Warhammer Alliance.

Even the little things make you laugh.
Check out the description on this DoK rez spell you get at level 10.
Stand, Coward!
Fits a DoK's mentality...and mine, perfectly.

My first day of Preview Weekend
Having way to much fun in the Beta this weekend. It is kind of counterproductive to getting my posts in. The gates were opened from Friday Morning, August 22 to Monday Morning, August 25. This sneak peak at WAR was my first taste of Warhammer. I will be trying as many classes as I can to help provide you of what I think of each.
I just wanted to share some of the useful sites that I have found so far. Bookmark them, you will use them often as you get started!
WARDB
Warhammer Alliance
Orc Name Generator
Warhammer Online Vault
Some good beginners guides and the Orc name generator is hilarious. Have fun and see you on the battlefield!
