Preview weekend reveals...

In a post today from Mark at Mythic, he addressed a few of their concerns after the preview weekend.

I have to agree with the pet pathing and control issues. It was one of the things that frustrated me the most when trying to play White Lion or Squig Herder. Actually frustrated me to the point of not playing either class. What fun is a pet class when you tell your pet to attack, kill the enemy yourself and then have your pet come wandering up looking at you like "you didn't want me to help, did you?"

Beside that, everything else he touched on was not a problem for me. Maybe I was lucky. All in all with the large influx of population over the preview weekend, I was very happy with the game performance, mechanics and content.

Here were the main points he addresses:

Client Crashes
Monster Pathing and AI
Pet Responsiveness
Global Cooldown Timers
Better animations
Texture Blurring
Client Performance
Targeting, Camera, etc
Renown rank gear
